RVCA is a clothing brand from Costa Mesa, California, owned since 2018 by the Boardriders group. Founded in 1999 by Pat Tenore and Conan Hayes, a professional surfer from Hawaii, RVCA is closely associated with skateboarding, surf culture, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and MMA.

The company sponsors skateboarding and surfing teams, as well as sports. It also claims close links with the art world and in parallel is developing a project called Artist Network Program, intended to push the boundaries of creative excellence and highlight the talent of emerging and established artists.

Matt Leines is an American illustrator / painter who graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design.

His drawings and paintings rich in color and detail depict a fantastic epic and an imaginary world inhabited by mustache men, post-Colombian characters and symbols, creatures and inhabited pyramids. His aesthetic, which draws on symbolism and surrealism, is resolutely primitive, but also unmistakably modern.

Matt Leines is part of the Artist Network Program and it was on the occasion of the release of a collection dedicated to him that the idea of collaborating with Artoyz for a volume edition of "Tiger Bolts" was born. Find this sublime tiger in the form of a figurine 30 cm long and 25 cm high, all in a limited edition of 800 copies including 500 copies for France.
